Terms of Use
6. CANCELLATION POLICY:
2 Weeks or more before admission - 100% of moneys paid back.
1 to 2 Weeks before admission - 50% of money paid.
Less than one week before admission - no refunds will be made.
7. Fees are charged inclusive of days of arrival and departure (per day), Cats are to be collected BEFORE closing times on departure date.
8. Our fees include: physical check-ups, bedding and litter, however, excludes nursing, medication, special diets, their food or additional services which will then be charged for as an extra and with prior arrangement.
9. If in the sole discretion and opinion of the owner of MYEDEN BOARDING CATTERY, if your cat should become sufficiently ill, we will call a veterinarian to attend to your cat or it will be taken to a Veterinary Hospital where it can receive the correct professional attention, at the cat owner's expense. For your convenience you may wish to consider Pet insurance by simply visiting www.dotsure.co.za It's affordable.
10. All outstanding balances, including transport, Veterinary fees and expenses will be paid for by the owner directly to MYEDEN BOARDING CATTERY before removal of your cat from our premises or directly to the veterinary practice.
11. Cat owners are permitted to bring their Cat's own bedding, subject to quality and quantity inspection. Every effort will be made to look after your Cat's bedding, toys and accessories, but MYEDEN BOARDING CATTERY accepts no responsibility for their loss or damage.

12. If Cats are not collected within 1 (one) week of their booked departure date, we reserve the right to dispose of them as we in our sole discretion may deem fit without prejudice to our rights to compensation from the owner.
13. OPERATING HOURS
All pick up’s and drop offs are strictly by appointment and agreed times must be strictly adhered to in order to avoid clashes with other clients. Half hour allocations for each drop off/pick up will be allocated during the following operating times:
Monday to Thursdays from 08:00am to 5:00pm
Fridays to Sundays from 08:00am to 2:00pm
Public Holidays from 08:00am to 2:00pm
We are closed on the following days: (no drop off's or pick up's)
25 December - Christmas Day
1 January - New Years Day
Good Friday
- In the interest of all cats, no booking will be accepted or admitted for boarding unless they are vaccinated according to current veterinary requirements. Please present proof of this when bringing you cat in.
- In order to keep our boarding facilities parasite-free, please ensure that your cat is flea free. If we notice that your cat has fleas then we’ll treat them for it at your expense. The cost for this treatment is R220 and is payable when picking up your cat.
- Your cats can expect the finest treatment at MYEDEN BOARDING CATTERY, but they and their accessories are boarded entirely at their owner's risk. The owner acknowledges that he is aware of the conditions under which they will be accommodated.
- The full period of board contracted for must be paid for in advance and not later than the date prescribed by us on your quotation.
- The cat’s owner acknowledges responsibility for the full costs of accommodation booked whether the cat is accommodated or not, and that this reservation contract is not subject to cancellation or variation, unless such cancellation or variation is received by us via email or call at least two weeks before booked admission date.
